I can never get enough of spending time along the Fraser River. The view of the Golden Ears always takes my breath away. I spotted this tug working away near Derby Reach on a sunny morning and decided to capture before the Sea Imp chugged down the river and out of sight.

I love to run along the bay in the early mornings. Beautiful views, quiet and peaceful. I don’t usually see the herons until I am right alongside them. As much as I pretend not to look directly at them they always see me coming and no matter how quiet I try to be, the moment I look at them they fly away.
